From today on the old care and share logo is no longer valid.
For to get the new Care & Share logo we like for you to check your dogs in the database. All tests should be up to date for your breeding stock to get the new Care & Share logo.
Heart test
Send us the links, (and/or new test results) to your dogs in the database, with your remarks, and we will check them. After checking your dogs and all test results of you breeding stock, we will send you a personal Care & Share logo with you're kennel name on it. Also you will get a special Care & Share certificate that is valid for one year.
Do not forget to let us know which rules you have for breeding in your country concerning the heart and other tests. If there are no rules in your country for testing you breeding stock, please let us know too. Those people who test their dogs without any rules given, get a special remark in the database.
Other tests and info.
Of course there are more problems in our breed, so every information you can give us about sicknesses in your dogs will help to whole breed in the end. We think about: eye tests, known cases of epilepsy, kidney failure,HD, liver shunt, Puppy lameness, cancer and if you find kinky tales in your litters. The more you share, the more the breed will benefit of it.

At this moment we are upgrading the health information of a lot of Dutch Irish wolfhounds that are tested on the special test days organized by the Dutch Irish Wolfhound foundation, from the year 2000 on.
We also created a new field in the pedigree in which the administration can submit the history of the heart tests that have been done in the past. This way we get a better idea of how and when DCM is occurring. Of course it will take some years before this will give us significant information about this subject, but in the end it will. As long as all of you keep sending in your positive and negative test results.

When we are done with checking all the Care & Share breeders information in the Database we will start advertising again. The Care & Share breeders will be mentioned in those advertisings by Kennel name.
Make sure your info is updated a.s.a.p so your Kennel name will be mentioned too in this advertisement campaign!
